Prescription medications can work well when taken properly but they are extremely powerful and so you don’t want to double up doses or otherwise take more than your doctor has recommended for you. Often time patients make the mistake of thinking that they will feel that much better if they take even more, but this will actually counteract the effects and leave you feeling worse and possibly even be dangerous.
